The conditions presented in these data protection regulations apply to the handling of data from the associations of the ICF Movement, ICF Zurich, ICF Activities, ICF Services gmbH, icf-media GmbH and ICF Foundation (hereinafter referred to jointly as ICF, ICF Movement or ICF Church) as well as other future companies or societies formed under the brand of ICF (International Christian Fellowship) which the association of the ICF Movement, ICF Zurich, ICF Activities, ICF Services gmbH, icf-Media GmbH or ICF Foundation are involved with.
The protection of your data is important to us.
It goes without saying that we handle your data responsibly and that we take all relevant regulations of the European, German and Swiss data protection laws. Personal data will only be collected on this website for technical purposes. In no event will the collected data be sold or given on to a third party for other reasons.
Below we will give you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and which data will be requested for which purpose.
Scope of the data collection and data storage
The sharing of personal data when visiting our website is basically voluntary and not required. For statistical purposes impersonal usage data, such as bowser type / version, used operating system, referrer URL, host name / IP address, time of server enquiry when creating standard log files, average time spent, pages viewed, etc. will be saved. ICF ensures that this communication and usage data are not linked to personal data or that online user data profiles are not merged with possible offline address data. We only use this information to determine the attractiveness of our website and improve its efficiency or content.
So that we can actually provide some of our services we might need your personal data. Personal data is information which can be associated with you individually. Examples include your name, address, postal address, telephone number or e-mail address.
This applies to our newsletter, online applications as well as other services like mailing invitations and registrations for courses, camps and our other offers. If you are registered to our services, we will collect and store your personal data only in the extent that it is necessary to carry out the service. Disclosure of Data within the ICF Movement
The ICF Movement consists of a network of local, independent churched which are listed under www.icf.church and operate under the protected name of ICF (International Christian Fellowship) as well as the registered ICF Logo.
To maintain customer relations as well as the provision of services through the local ICF churches it may be necessary to store your personal data, process it and make it available to other companies and ICF churches within the ICF Movement or societies which a member organisation of the ICF Movement is involved to better address your needs or improve our products and services we offer you.
With the disclosure of your data on the website you agree to selective disclosure of the data to other ICF churches. The data is generally not passed on to all ICF churches, but only when we think that this disclosure of your data could be of use to you. We will not sell your personal data on to third parties or pass them on otherwise.
When you visit our website, it may be that information is stored on your computer in the form of a “cookie”, which will automatically recognize you at your next visit. Cookies will, for example, allow us to adapt a website according to your interest. Data processing through the application of a third-party provider
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your usage of the website. For example information on the operating system, the browser, your IP address, the website which you previously accessed (referred URL) and date and time of your visit on our website are recorded. This data is not bundled for ICF as webmaster to be viewed or changed. Newsletter and other services
If you would like to receive the newsletters offered by us, we need a valid e-mail address as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address and the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. You can revoke your consent to store the data, your e-mail address and the usage thereof for the mailing of the newsletter at any time.
In addition to newsletters you can also register for various events on our website using forms or via personal contact with our employees. In this case we store the data needed for the registration: name, e-mail address and any additional information
Assigned data use
We respect the principle of assigned data use and only collect, process and store your personal data for the purpose that you have given it to us. You can have your collected data blocked, corrected or deleted at any time and reject the anonymised or pseudonymous collection and storage of data for purposes of optimizing our website. ICF takes technical and organisational security measures to protect all personal data from accidentally or unlawfully being deleted, changed or lost and against unauthorised passing on or unauthorised access in collaboration with our hosting providers. However, ICF does not assume any liability for damages that occur in this connection (e.g. data loss).
In no case is ICF liable for any direct or indirect damages and consequential damages arising out from the use of the software, information and material on the ICF websites.
ICF assumes no guarantee that information, software, documents or other information which is accessible over the ICF websites are free of viruses or other harmful components.
ICF is not liable for the up-to-datedness, correctness, completeness and quality of the information provided.

Our websites contain links to third-party websites. ICF is not responsible for the data projection policies or the content of these other websites. Data protection at events
Personal data / purpose
At ICF events you may be filmed or photographed. When you come to an event of the ICF church, you expressly agree on the possibility of being taped or photographed and that such audio/visual material may be used for broadcasts on TV, the internet or other media.
Your trust is important to us. For this reason we want to always be there to take or answer questions concerning the processing of your personal data.
