The protection of your data is important to us.

It is self-evident for us that we handle your data responsibly, taking into account the data protection laws, in particular the EU Data Protection Regulations (DSGVO). Personal data is only collected on this website to the extent technically necessary. In no case will the collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons.

Purposes of data processing by the controller and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned. We will only share your personal data with third parties if:

    • the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you,
    • the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,

Third party service providers may process information, fulfill and deliver orders, process donations and credit card payments, and provide support on our behalf. To the extent that such information is shared, agreements limit the use of your information to the purpose for which it is provided and ensure that it is stored securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

SHARING DATA WITHIN THE ICF MOVEMENT.

The ICF Movement consists of a network of local, independent churches listed at www.icf.church operating under the trademarked name ICF (International Christian Fellowship) and with the registered ICF logo.

In order to maintain customer relationships and to provide services through local ICF churches, it may be necessary for us to store, process and share your personal data with other companies and ICF churches within the ICF Movement or companies in which an ICF Movement company has an interest in order to better respond to your requests or to improve our products or services.

By submitting your information on this website, you consent to the selective sharing of the information with other ICF churches. We will not share your information with all ICF churches, but only if we believe that sharing your information would be beneficial to you. We will not sell or otherwise share your personal information with third parties.

Data protection at events

Personal data / purpose

At ICF events, it is possible that you will be filmed or photographed. By attending an event of the ICF church, you expressly agree that you may be recorded or photographed and that such recordings/photos may be used for broadcast on TV, the Internet or other media.

 

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

 

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Comment function / Pinboard

When users leave comments on our website or create entries on the pinboard, the time of their creation and the user name previously selected by the website visitor are stored in addition to this information. This serves our security, as we can be prosecuted for illegal content on our website, even if it was created by users.

Newsletter

The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

One of our main providers is The Rocket Science Group in the USA d/b/a MailChimp, which offers email communication services and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework approved by the European Commission.

Pardot Marketing Automation System

We use the Pardot Marketing Automation System (“Pardot MAS”) of Pardot LLC, 950 E. Paces Ferry Rd. Suite 3300 Atlanta, GA 30326, USA (“Pardot”) on our websites. Pardot is a special software for recording and evaluating the use of a website by website visitors. Insofar as Pardot LLC processes personal data, the processing is carried out exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Our website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

Payment provider

PayPal

On our website we offer, among other things, payment via PayPal. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”).

If you select payment via PayPal, the payment data you enter will be transmitted to PayPal.

ICF takes technical and organizational security measures to protect all personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration and against unauthorized disclosure or access in cooperation with our hosting providers as far as possible. However, ICF accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage that may arise in this context (e.g. loss of data).

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator.
