We desire to be more with Jesus,
to become more like Jesus,
and to act more like Jesus.
This should not only happen on Sundays during the celebration, but the whole week long.
That’s why we, as a church, take one evening together in the middle of the week,
where we want to grow in faith together and individually.
With our discipleship steps EXPLORE, GET FREE, and IMPACT, we create the foundation
for profound spiritual experiences, personal release, and courageous faith.
OUR DISCIPLESHIP STEPS
Discipleship (German: Jüngerschaft) comes from the Latin word “discipio,” which means “to grasp intellectually“,
and the Greek word “matheteuo,” which can be translated as “to be a learner/to be a student.”
So, a disciple is someone who learns from Jesus.
Learning means both listening and practicing and applying,
because only what is put into practice really sticks in the memory.
So, when we speak of discipleship, it means truly getting to know Jesus.
Following the example of His twelve disciples back then, we want to actively follow Jesus, listen to Him,
learn from Him, and practically apply what we have learned in everyday life.
